Rhonda Waters Artist
Rhonda Waters has been creating art for the past 50 years.
A Fine Arts graduate of Stephens College, she was classically trained in the art of metalwork and welding.
Using an oxygen acetylene torch, she creates small and large scale copper, brass and stainless steel sculptures.
Her work has been commissioned by hotels, churches and private patrons, as well as sold at shows and in galleries.
While much of Mrs. Water’s work is unique and fascinating, she has ventured into styles of vintage aging processes and diverse usage of “found items” such as, nails, drift wood, palm fronds, she shells and etc.
More recently, Mrs. Waters has incorporated her textured paintings into her metal sculptures. She also has started exploring fused glass and incorporates Raku pottery in her work.
She has participated in local art shows over the past 40 years.
Mrs. Waters’ creativity and boundless enthusiasm for experimentation stem from her core believe that, “the possibilities are endless!”
The artist resides in The Villages, Florida with her husband.
